CASA DI OVIA
FOUNDER - IJE
THE CONCEPT
Casa Di Ovia didn’t begin as a brand. It began as a response to waste, to overconsumption, and to the feeling that everyday objects could be made with more care. This film captures that origin, not as a polished narrative, but as something personal, lived-in, and real.
Rather than telling a traditional founder story, we focused on a quieter moment the decision to return. After launching in 2020, the brand paused as life expanded around it: motherhood, a full-time legal career, and the realities of building something alongside everything else. The story isn’t about interruption. It’s about recommitment.
At its core, the film explores ritual the small, everyday moments that shape how we live. Lighting a candle. Resetting a space. Creating calm within movement. Sustainability is not positioned as perfection, but as something that integrates naturally into real life.
The tone is calm, warm, and observational. No urgency. No performance. The founder Ije is not positioned as an expert, but as a mirror reflecting what choosing better can look like in practice.
The result is a film designed to build trust through honesty, leaving the viewer feeling reassured, not sold to.
